This wasn’t spontaneous. It was organized.
According to reporting, the Minneapolis ICE resistance movement is being driven by coordinated activist organizations, including:
• Indivisible Twin Cities – A local chapter of the national Indivisible network, involved in organizing protests and messaging.
• CAIR Minnesota – Led local demonstrations and public pressure efforts following the incident.
• Party for Socialism and Liberation – Helped organize and amplify protests nationally in solidarity actions.
• Democratic Socialists of America (local chapters) – Mobilized activists and promoted anti-ICE demonstrations.
• Palestinian Youth Movement – Participated in coordinated protest efforts tied to the movement.
These groups bring funding, logistics, trained organizers, and coordinated narratives — not “organic outrage.”
When protests look rehearsed, funded, and rapidly mobilized, that’s not grassroots.
That’s organized activism.
