Fire Pit/ Campfire tax update: a bill proposing a $100,000 fine for using a fire pit or starting a campfire without a permit in your backyard remains under consideration in Springfield. Lawmakers have until May 31st to approve it.

HB4459 is titled the Local Government Open Burn Permit Act has been proposed by Democrat State Rep. Amy Briel who represents DeKalb, Bureau and LaSalle Counties.

If passed, HB4459 would allow any county or municipality to establish permit requirements for anyone seeking to perform an open burn. The permit may not be more than $5. Failure to obtain a permit would result in exorbitant fines according to legislation as it is written.

As it stands now, Illinois residents are allowed to have and use a fire pit or campfire in their backyards that you can use for an open burn, however, Democrats want you to pay for a permit to do so. If you fail to do so, steep fines for Illinois residents under the legislation (HB4459).

It remains to be seen whether this legislation, which currently sits in committee in Springfield, will be called up for a vote in the Illinois State house and Senate. The deadline in this legislative session is Sunday May 31st.

The fines can range from $100,000-$500,000 if you don’t get a permit.

A new 25% Illinois tax on stuff you already own is being proposed by Illinois Democrats!

The brand new tax is not an income tax, but a tax many Illinoisans would have to annually pay to the state annually based on the value of your property, assets and value of your bank accounts.

It was recently announced that Illinois is looking to collect an additional $900 million in tax dollars due to an "underestimate" revenue projections by Gov Pritzker's budget office.

[Q: Should Illinois be able to tax you annually based on what you already worked for, paid for, and own?]

Illinois Senate Bill 3376, sponsored by Democrats, would create a new tax you would pay on assets you already own and money already have. This is 'not' an income based tax, but a tax on what some Illinoisians already own. Never before has this type of tax been approved in Illinois.

The Illinois Revenue Alliance, comprised on Illinois progressive Democrats, is seeking to pass what they are calling a "Billionaire's Tax"

The Bill, introduced by Sen. Karina Villa (D), is backed by the Illinois Revenue Alliance. The law proposes the "Extremely High Wealth Mark-to-Market Tax Act." It aims to tax residents with net assets based on annual asset appreciation (gains or losses) each year. Individuals identified the legislation would be required report the value of their holdings at the beginning and end of each year, and the increase would be subject to the same rate that everyday Illinoisans already pay on their income. This would be on top of income tax already paid on their assets and bank holdings.

Democrats say this tax, for now, would be intended for individuals with assets of over $1 billion, but that threshold of taxed assets could easily be reduced to $1 million or less in subsequent years.

This new tax is expected to generate nearly 1 billion annually in new revenue for the state. Money would be directed to the General Revenue Fund in the State treasury. The City of Chicago is already circling above, like vultures, waiting for the money!

This tax is different than the Millionaires tax that was proposed last month. The Millionaires tax was based on 'income', this tax would not be on income, but on assets. 

Face it America!

The democrats have a long history of evil deeds beginning with the very first democrat POTUS, Andrew Jackson.  Just look at what President Jackson did to the Cherokee Nation.

Further, Americans are only ONE generation away from losing all of our freedoms.  These historical facts presented by Senator Cruz need to be drilled into our student population on a regular basis.  If not, the alternative will place all of us right back to 1776 for a long and deadly do-over.

 Today we remember and honor every American who gave their life in uniform so that the rest of us could live free.

They did not ask for parades or monuments.  They ask only that we never forget the price they paid.

To their families, their brothers and sisters in arms and every American who still feels the weight of that debt, thank you for carrying their memory forward.

After yesterday’s Southern State party purge, the New York Times felt its meds wearing off, blood rushed to its head, and it simply could not make up its narrative mind. 

Either Trump is an aging, damaged president with flagging popularity who is fumbling his way into a midterm catastrophe, or else he is Trumpzilla, dominating the GOP and smashing all resistance. 

The Times, unable to choose, went with both at the same time. Headline: “Trump Crushes Republican Dissent.” 

Almost 30 Republicans backed by President Trump either won or took first place in GOP primaries yesterday in Georgia, Alabama, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. 

The headline story (for democrats and their liberal/progressive minions) was the ignominious defeat of iconoclastic seven-term incumbent Thomas Massie, who lost to a first-timer, a farmer, and a SEAL, Ed Gallrein, who enjoyed Trump’s endorsement.

 It wasn’t even close.

• April 20th — the Southern Poverty Law Center was indicted by a federal grand jury for bank fraud and secretly financing hate groups.

• April 21st — Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) resigns mid-campaign for her fourth term, with a pending Miami criminal case over $5 million in allegedly stolen covid disaster-relief funds (CNBC: “third House member to quit this month”).

• April 28th — Dr. David Morens, longtime Fauci adviser, indicted by DOJ on covid-related charges.

• May 4th — Michigan AG Dana Nessel files a 41-page criminal affidavit charging Fay Beydoun — a Gretchen Whitmer-appointed “nonprofit business leader” — with sixteen felonies for fraud and corruption around a $20 million state grant.

• May 8th — Poul Thorsen, former CDC scientist and lead author of the foundational 2003 NEJM paper used for two decades to “disprove” the MMR-autism link, was extradited from Germany and arraigned in Atlanta on two counts of wire fraud and nine counts of money laundering; he’s being held without bail as a flight risk.

• Last week — FBI raided Virginia State Sen. Louise Lucas (D) — “Virginia’s most powerful Democrat” and the “architect” of the failed $70M gerrymandering operation — along with her marijuana dispensary, as part of what Acting AG Todd Blanche confirms is an “ongoing criminal investigation.”

• May 11th — Arcadia (Greater LA) Mayor Eileen Wang (D) resigned and pleaded guilty to being a Chinese Commie spy.

That’s just a few weeks!  All of this wildly gratifying DOJ activity should also be considered in light of the FBI’s Fulton County raid (January 28th) and the FBI’s criminal subpoenas to Maricopa County officials (March), both related to the 2020 Election. This level of politically adjacent prosecution spanning the entire country and involving state and federal levels and deep state actors like the CDC scientists is historically unprecedented. If it weren’t happening right before our astonished eyes, you’d place a bet that it could never happen.
