Is it just me, or, does anyone else find it interesting that as the citizens of Communist China are standing up to and rebelling against tyranny, American citizens are embracing that same tyranny?

My takeaway from the Midterms of 2022: Republicans will never again win in a Blue State unless they become better than the Democrats at their own game. Such as "early voting" and "ballot harvesting".

My takeaway from the midterm elections of 2022:

The democrats earned a near-perfect score for their tactical judgment: They rounded up a big majority among young voters by hammering the abortion issue, emphasizing the reduction in marijuana penalties, and championing student loan forgiveness. This and the malicious pressing of the safety of our democracy as a euphemism for the defamatory nonsense that Donald J Trump is a menace to the Constitution successfully turned the minds of a substantial number of small minded voters to produce a dangerously perverse result.

Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania...

Remember when the democrats would not allow military votes to be counted because they arrived late?

After Hurricane Ian hit Florida, I did not see Priuses loaded with windmills, solar panels and social justice warriors coming to save the day.

I did see diesel trucks, internal combustion engine SUV's, gasoline powered generators, heavy tractors, fuel tankers and a whole lot of toxic masculinity working to save lives and rebuild hard hit areas.

The soldier has dropped his bag, releasing his wartime burden at the threshold of the farm so that he can accept with open arms the life he used to know and the dog running toward him. A man returning to a farmhouse he left as a boy. His burden is at his feet. But it is still with him.
